I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues with your Xactlite. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and I’m here to help resolve this for you. While issues are rare, I want to ensure you’re taken care of. To minimize downtime, I’ve outlined a few options below that allow you to avoid being without your Xactlite. However, I’m also happy to provide a full-service repair if you prefer.
If your Xactlite is within the one-year warranty period, you have the following options:
Option A:
You can send the light back to us, and I’ll repair it free of charge and return it to you. Please use your order number as your RA number when shipping. We aim for a one-business-day turnaround to get your light back to you quickly. Cost is $0
Option B:
I can send you a new light cap, which will require you to transfer the light and switch assembly, battery contacts, battery cover, and magnet assembly yourself. This involves:
- De-soldering two connections.
- Moving the battery contacts to the new assembly.
- Re-soldering them in place.
- Transfer the magnet assembly and battery cover.
- Remove and replace four screws.
The cost for this option is $0, and it allows you to avoid sending your light in or being without it during the repair process.
Option C:
I can provide a fully assembled new cap with the light assembly already installed. You will only need to:
- Transfer the magnet assembly and battery cover.
- Remove and replace four screws.
This option requires no soldering and ensures you won’t have to send your light in. The cost for this option is $25.
